This warning has been around for a year now - maybe some of you already know about it.

"Health Canada is advising consumers not to use the following product listed in the table below due to concerns about possible side-effects."

"Reason for Warning
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) of Australia recalled VPX 'No Shotgun' and BSN 'Cell Mass' BodyBuilding Powders, as they were found to contain coumarin, a prescription drug used to prevent blood clots. Coumarin should be taken only if prescribed and closely monitored by a health professional.

Possible Side Effects
Possible side-effects associated with drugs like coumarin include excessive bleeding. Coumarin should not be used in combination with certain medications, including antibiotics. Pregnant women and other high risk populations should not use this drug."

That's pretty serious stuff.

Cellmass still contains Cinnulin PF (Aqueous Cinnamon Extract), but it sounds like the couramin might only be present in trace amounts. If it hasn't been pulled off the shelves in North America it's probably not too big of a concern (I hope).
