Some major additions were made over the past week or so:
- I've added some profile fields that people can optionally fill in. The profile is visible to everybody, whether they're registered or not.
- Users can also be connected to other users via the "Connections" tab of the profile. This works similar to Facebook, etc. You have to request a connection with another user, who then needs to approve it from the "Manage Your Connections" menu item in the profile page. You can say how you're connected, and enter comments. Pretty cool stuff! Thanks to the JoomlaPolis Community Builder team for this.
- The # of ratings for each average user rating is now shown, both in the category pages (e.g., Inverted Rubbers from the left menu), and in the product pages. This is useful because although 10 people may have reviewed something, only 2 of them may have rated one criterion.
- Certain criteria are now excluded from the Overall Rating (Low side effects, Low development of tolerance, Low dependence), due to inconsistent or inaccurate usage.

Two updates have been made today:
- "My Reviews" has been removed from the User Menu on the left side, and incorporated as a new tab on the profile page. This makes the navigation slightly simpler.
- Private messaging capabilities have been added. You can PM somebody from the forum, from their profile, from your Connections tab in your profile, or from the Private Messages menu item in the User Menu.

With many people searching on side effects (called Adverse [Drug] Events in the scientific literature) of supplements, I felt it was imperative that we have a way to gather and present this information in a structured fashion.
Today this is in place - you can now report on the side effects that you've experienced in your reviews. I researched the types of side effects that supplement users experience, and tried to include all the main ones that are typically reported in the list you can select from, purposefully not including all of the possible side effects, as this list would get huge. Please use the "Other" field to report on side effects that you can't find in the list.
