I'm always on the lookout for a quality sleep-aid, and I heard great things about Fusion's Shut-Eye. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. While this is supposed to help you sleep, I found that it was actually harder to fall asleep when I used this. I altered my eating schedule, caffeine use, etc. but this just didn't seem to do the trick. A few times when I had to get up early and had little sleep, I felt alert and well-rested, so it may have aided in deeper sleep. If I hadn't had so much trouble falling asleep every time I used this, it'd definitely be great, because I do think I was well-rested even on a short night of sleep, but it also doesn't help that this seemed to induce a short night of sleep.

Shut Eye's whole premise is that it will improve "muscle sleep," resulting in more building. For the most part, this is hard to notice this actually happening as you use the product, but overall, I did make gains while on this product (moreso than with similar diet and training prior to taking it) so I have to give some credit to it's benefit.

Besides testosterone and GH raising capabilities, it sure will zonk you out. FAST. The melatonin at 2mg (taking the full 4 capsule serving, which is not always needed for all individuals) was enough to make me crash in 30-45 minutes TOPS after taking it (thanks to Bioperine too I suppose).

Speaking of Bioperine one unfortunate side effect I had was mild heart burn from this ingredient for a short while after taking it, that is, until I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore.

On the basis of melatonin, I'm not a huge fan of daily use, based on its prolonged-use effects, so this is not a product I would use month after month, but perhaps bi-monthly. Luckily there is no dependency issues on this product - so definitely no problems after I finished the bottle.

The profile is fairly basic, but I would say it's effective, so extras are not needed. The price is a main deterrent unfortunately.

Of course, fairly tasteless (just some old capsule taste) and super convenient to take.

That said, overall a good product for getting that important night's rest for athletes and bodybuilders. I would say (out of speculation) this product is more effective at promoting sleep than it is at promoting muscle growth, but I did notice results using it.

Physical energy		but once I was wide awake i was refreshed, alive, energetic and ready for the day to start.

Strength		Sleep plays an important role in strength gains and since I’ve been sleeping better, I’m stronger than ever.

Muscle gain		The anabolic ingrediants in this product agree with me very well, because it seems like I get freakin huge every time I start taking this again.

Difficulty sleeping	another good thing was shut eye isnt a sleep aid a person would become dependent on like all the sleep aid medacation out there.

Fat loss		I also noticed that after around a week i lost some bodyfat around the waist and this was the only thing different within my regime.
Euphoria		My mood was better whilst using the SHUT-EYE too and put this down to the better quality of sleep i was getting from it.


Endurance		but after the fourth time using it I always get very tired around thirty minutes after taking it; then fall asleep like a baby.
