Product used: Dymatize Micronized Creatine 2.42lbs (1100gr) **100 extra grams are included apposed to the standard 1000gr per tub**
Male:24yrs:185lbs
Bodybuilding Experience: On/off last 4 years (Mostly off). Now it is time to get serious!!!

The Dymatize nutritional product Micronized Creatine was the first time I have tried such a product. After doing extensive research on brand quality and effectiveness I put my trust in this product.

Start Date: March 17/08
Duration until this review: 2 weeks
Dosage: 5grams serving per day. No loading phase used.

The reasoning behind this purchase stemmed from numerous complaints that users of non-micronized creatine complained of stomach upset. The Micronized version is though to decrease these symptoms, so I chose this particular route.

Week 1: No stomach upset, intestinal discomfort, or increase in flatulence. The results this week are very promising. I have gained 4.5lbs thus far and have noticed significant improvements in overall strength and muscular recovery between sets. Muscular definition is also becoming more pronounced. Definitely visible gains in overall size.

Max 1 rep flat-bench increased by 5lbs, Squat by 10lbs.

Week 2: Visible muscular growth is continuing to show. I have gained 5.0lbs this week and am now approximately 195lbs. No noticeable side effects to report. Muscular gains continue improve:

Max 1 rep flat-bench increased by 5lbs, Squat by 5lbs. (Total 2 week increase = 10bls bench, 15lbs squat)

I am able to attain and SUSTAIN a "PUMP" faster and longer. Muscular recovery between sets and in a 24hr period continues to improve. No visible tissue edema due to water retention. Weight gain has been clean and evenly distributed.

The psychological effect of starting a creatine cycle has improved my discipline and motivation while training.

Product Focus:

Mixability: The fine creatine granules mostly dissolve in water after a few minutes. Some residue on the bottom of the container is visible, however, easily removed by a light shake and then ingested. Absolutely no CLUMPING as I have read some other mixed creatine products suffer from.

Taste: As expected there is no taste at all. Furthermore, the expected "GRIT" feel of undissolved granules is also absent which is a huge bonus.

Personal Method of Delivery: I like to mix 2.5grams of this product with H20 30min before my workout. I then proceed to do the same after my workout. Overall I drink +3L of water per day.

TIP: I like to mix this with pure Dextrose (powder) and a little lemon-lime Gatorade (powder). The dextrose has been shown to improve uptake of the creatine and the Gatorade just adds a little flavor to the H20.

Verdict: This product has delivered impressive results thus far. No gastrointestinal issue were encountered. This product uses pharmaceutical grade creatine and bears the TMB quality assurance crest. The price for this size is under $22 at most internet retailers which makes it economical and the 220 servings per tub is unbeatable. I will continue to use this product until my cycle is complete. I am very satisfied and will recommend to anyone looking for a solid no gimmick Creatine suppliment.

Therefore this product gets an overall: 10/10 Reps

Value for money		I prefer only creatine monohydrate and this provides all the results you could want at the most efficient price.


Taste		Why pay for sugar or flavor by volume???

Pump		I do get stronger and more pumped than when I go off it for a few weeks.

Pump		The product works as it should giving you good pumps, retains water in the muscles for muscle growth.

Mixes well		This time around I stuck with it and found that if you use adequate water (milk, juice, whatever) and mix it long enough it actually mixes decently and goes down fine.
Value for money		I'll keep using Dymatize Creatine given that it is a reputable company, has an excellent price point and does what I need it to do.
